Writing helps to clarify thought - write once just to spill your mind on paper, read it, and then write again! Repeat as necessary.

Writing is, foremost, a craft that must be practiced, like cooking or singing. I'm a traditionalist, and I believe the basic requirement of good writing is clarity. After that, you can add wit, style, and voice.

I'm not a writer, nor do I ever intend to be one. But I appreciate writing skill, and I try improve my own by emulating others. I particularly enjoy Norman Maclean. He has a restrained style that reminds me of an autumn breeze - crisp, dry, yet not without warmth. Study the writers you enjoy!oaleehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14870535351288776798noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2212490756376769594.post-31817041722330019912010-03-23T09:47:55.692-07:002010-03-23T09:47:55.692-07:00just write how/what you want. after all, it's...just write how/what you want. after all, it's your blog. :) every blog has their own readership and i'm sure you have many loyal readers.MJ Kleinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16859263977094071677noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2212490756376769594.post-86310127302966245562010-03-23T03:40:03.323-07:002010-03-23T03:40:03.323-07:00If I feel the need to remove something I will. They cut out the useless excess.

While I appreciate your input and I think your blog is great, in my case there is a switch to flip. I am waiting for something to ignite that energy.
